What's on at Scott Drive Church

During the week we meet every fortnight in small groups in homes, where we are able to share fellowship together, study something from God's word to help us to grow spiritually, and spend some time praying to the Father. During the alternate week we meet for a whole-church prayer meeting, either at Scott Drive or at the Church on the Green. Our activities and games afternoons take place between 4pm-6pm on the first Saturday of the month. Men's breakfasts take place on the second Saturday of the month at 8am at Wetherspoons (The Powder Monkey) in Exmouth. Ladies' breakfasts take place on the third Saturday of the month at 8.45am at King's Garden Centre. Christianity Explored and Hope Explored courses are run from time to time, for those who would like to find out a bit more about what Christian faith has to say in this perplexing world of ours!

A special Coffee Morning is planned on Saturday 25th June (10.30am-noon) at The Church on the Green as a way of introducing ourselves to the people of Budleigh Salterton and to answer any questions anyone may have. There will be no charge for this event - do come and meet us!

From Sunday, 31st July, we will be following a short series examining some key things that we need to understand about Christian beliefs and practices. (i) What is penal substitution? (31st July) (ii) What is Christian assurance? (7th August) (iii) What are we doing at communion? (14th August) (iv) Why should we go to church? (21st August) (v) What's so special about Sunday? (28th August).
