Activities & meetings
We meet at the church premises on Sunday mornings at 10.30am, and at 6.30pm for informal fellowship. The morning meetings last for about one hour and a bit, and usually include some items for the children, prayer, Bible reading and sermon. Communion is usually included in the morning service on the first and third Sundays of the month. The children leave after the first 15 minutes or so to go to their own classes. We resumed singing from Sunday 25th July!
We want to try and make the church a safe environment for everyone. So far as we know, over the past 15 months, no one has caught Coronavirus while at the church We would like to keep it that way if possible.
While wearing a face covering is now mandatory, these can be removed, if desired, for singing. For those who wish to keep coverings on, the back row (or two, depending on numbers) will be reserved for those who prefer to do so, and that way no one will be breathing over them while singing. There is also no requirement to wear a face covering over refreshments at the end of a service.
While it is not mandatory, the Government is advising that lateral flow tests are taken before attending meetings like church services – and obviously people should not attend if there is a positive result.
There is no requirement for social distancing, but we do ask that those without masks respect the space of the others.
For those who are unable to attend, recordings of sermons will be available during the week, and there is a back catalogue of sermons on audio and YouTube on our website.
We continue to meet for fellowship, prayer and Bible study at various times during the week. Do feel free to contact us via our website if you would like to join us for any of these sessions - our aim will be to make you feel at home among friends, so you won't be expected to know anything first - just come along and sample Christian fellowship!
Admission is free and all are welcome.
